UFO sewing day

A UFO can mean many things but in crafting, knitting or sewing communities it means a project you started but haven't completed.

On Saturday the 15th of August 2026 you can tuck yourself away for the day from 9.30am to 4pm and just sew. Or come for part of the day whatever suits you best. I will be at hand to give advice and get you back on track with your project.  There will be many folk around you who will be happy to lend a helping hand. A not-for-profit event to be together and just do what we love.

You need to bring your own sewing machine, unfinished project(s), threads and your usual tools.

Tea and coffee are provided throughout the day. around 12.30pm we'll break for lunch. Homemade soup and a variety of sandwiches will be provided.  Including vegetarian options.

There are only 20 tickets available. Bookings taken on a first-come, first-served basis. If all the tickets have gone there may be a chance you'll get in if there are last minute cancellations. If you want to be placed on the waiting list please fill in the contact form. 

This event is intended for sewing class pupils only.
