When we were all in lockdown during the pandemic and we heard about the shortage of PPE I decided to put my skills to good use. I joined the national action group on-line and got a group of volunteers together. Friends, neighbours, pupils and former pupils of mine joined in. Soon we had 20 sets together and they were sent to where they were most needed. We then also got requests from 3 local teams who were struggling to get scrubs. Blue fabric was hard to come by and across the country alternatives were started to get used. Mainly bedding as this gives you a large enough amount. A shout out on facebook soon had many duvet covers and some curtains flooding in. Another 17 sets were made.
